Mother Teresa was one of the world's greatest Humanitarians and Peace Activists. She devoted her entire to life helping impoverished people in India and around the world. Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity which is a congregation of Nuns that run soup kitchens, orphanages, and nursing homes for the poor and sick. Once Mother Teresa said that she saw the face of Jesus in each person which made it easy for her to help them. Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 and was Canonized as a Saint in 2016.
