My next door neighbors invited me to a traditional Vietnamese Engagement Ceremony for their daughter. The event was a kaleidoscope for the senses: vibrant colors of traditional costumes, food, and decorations to see, glorious textures of flower decorations to touch, amazing aromas of the Vietnamese food and flowers to smell, delicious traditional Vietnamese feast to taste, and the traditional blast of firecrackers to hear. Sometimes you get lucky . . . you can travel the world just by going next door!
